3 years ago, my close friend (Chantha), asked me if I knew of any bakeries that sold yummy cookies. This was at a time when dessert tables were becoming really popular. Her daughter's 1st birthday was coming up and she wanted to have a cookie bar at her party. This was also around the time I started to get into baking so I recommended the first obvious and logical choice - me! LOL. Although I was a beginner, the cookies went over really well so for her daughter's following 2 birthdays, I've been put in charge of the dessert table. I love orders for this particular friend because she gives me creative reign on the desserts - I just need to stick to the theme. Below are close ups of the treats I made for her party this past weekend as well as pictures of the completed dessert table. Aiyla's dessert table included: Tinkerbell doll cake, hummingbird cupcakes, eton mess shooters, cream pufs, cake pops, meringue cookies, French macarons (almond and pistachio) and fruit kabobs. I hope she liked them! |
